Successful Party for the Parks raises $14,000

The inaugural fundraiser for the Worthington Parks and Recreation Foundation, held May 16, 2026, featured a brief talk, “Why Pollinator Gardens Matter,” by Marne A. Titchenell, wildlife program director, OSU Extension, and live music by songwriter Matt Steidle. Attendees appreciated the beautiful view from the offices of Cleverley and Associates, and enjoyed refreshments from House Wine in Worthington and Metro Cuisine.

Proceeds from the event go towards improvements at the lovely East Granville Road Park and Moses Wright Nature Area, including trails, benches, picnic tables, and signage, as well as supporting space for a pollinator garden, which will be installed by volunteers.

You can be part of this outstanding local project! Make a donation at this link, our account with The Columbus Foundation, which allows us to share information about our programs with the Central Ohio area (and accrue interest ;).
